Inspector Qualifications?

All Secure Home InspectionsTM Inspectors are “Certified” and have completed the state certification program through the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR). Each one of our highly trained and experienced inspectors work toward one or more of the following certifications and memberships including the National Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).

Learn more about memberships:

  • InterNACHI® CPI Certification is separate from state licensing. To become certified you must first join as a member, complete an InterNACHI SOP (Standards of Practice) course, complete code of ethics course and submit 4 mock inspections. $499 Annual Membership

Pass the ASHI Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics education modules, complete background check and pay $449 Annual Membership dues and complete 50 paid home inspections.  To move to the next level (ASHI Certified Inspector) you would need to complete 250 paid home inspections and Pass the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE).
